Jai Feng Bei-Down Town Chongqing main centre

Chongqing is famous for being a mountain city and is going through rapid change. Opposite in the distance is the new Opera house being built, it is amazing.
The British Council Offices is situated in the centre of Jai Feng Bei and close to the River. After the meeting I strolled down to the river, it is very scenic and beautiful.
Below is a view of the River and a traditional style building on a misty day. Sculpture of old styles buildings in Chongqing for being a mountain city in China.

( Below inner Left) February 2009, Maureen Salmon's visit, Consultant for International Powerbrokers, Cultural Leadership Programme UK, Sarah Deverall, Director, British Council,Chongqing, Jenny Zhang, Arts Officer and Xioaying Wang, Marketing Officer, both from British Council. The organisation is working closely with Wales, the twin city of Chongqing and is developing innovative projects in areas related to public art. I have an invitation for a special even this thursday at the Three Georges Museum an art education project exchange with Wales.

Melino, Customer Services Officer, has been very helpful with my work. She helped to make my day and smiles. A happy snap an dgreat view from British Council offices. I will miss those views. The British Council has been a blessing and helped contribute to my stay in Chongqing. It has been valuable to have their help and Xiaoying Wang's contribution with my work.

Please send in your comments about my blog and you can email me at valeriechang106@hotmail.com. I am seeking future collaborations to work with UK and China as a link.
